Delete your data
In force from 23 October 2026 · Version 1.1
1. How to submit a request
Self-service: if you have an account, you can delete it yourself on the map (My cabinet → Delete account) and confirm the deletion. Account data, the registration questionnaire and login sessions are deleted immediately.
By email: send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion request".
In the email, please give:
- Your first name and surname (if you have a registered account)
- The email address linked to KALME (if applicable)
- A confirmation that the request concerns your own data
Anonymous mobile app users (without a registered account): if you want to delete analytics data linked to your device, please give in the email:
- The approximate period of use (month/year)
- The device type (Android/iOS)
2. What data is deleted
2.1. For registered users
- Account data (name, email, phone) and the registration questionnaire
- Published listings and their photographs
- Communication data (messages with other users)
- Usage history and statistics
2.2. For (anonymous) mobile app users
- Analytics data (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok, LinkedIn cookies) linked to your device
- Advertising identifiers
- Session and page visit logs
3. Processing time
Deletion on the map is immediate. We process an email request within 30 days of receiving it. When the deletion is complete, you will receive a confirmation email.
4. Exceptions
Some data may be kept after a deletion request if the law requires it:
- Accounting data (invoices, payments): 5 years (the Latvian Accounting Law)
- In case of disputes or legal claims: until the limitation period ends
- Anonymised statistics (without personally identifiable data): without a time limit
5. Your other rights
Under the GDPR, you also have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of your data (data portability)
- Correct inaccurate data
- Withdraw consent to data processing
- Complain to the Data State Inspectorate
For full information about data processing, see the Privacy policy.
5A. Hiding the transaction data of your property
If you are the owner or former owner of a property and do not want the transaction data of your property (price, date, cadastre number) to be shown in KALME market context reports and on the map, you have the right to submit an objection request under Article 21 of the GDPR.
How it works:
- Fill in the form with the cadastre number and your email address
- We send a verification link to the email you gave
- The link in the email is valid for 72 hours
- Once you confirm (click the link), the transaction data of this property is no longer shown in KALME reports and property cards straight away; on the map it disappears after the next map update (at least once a month)
Important:
- The request does not affect the public register of the State Land Service; the data is still available there
- In case of a dispute we may ask for additional proof (a cadastre statement from the Land Register)
- You can withdraw the request at any time by writing to [email protected]
